Monday 20 July, 2015: Residents and supporters of the Houthi insurgency are seen chewing Khat at the dusk in one street in the Old City of Sana'a, a 2,500-year-old cultural heritage site endangered after a fighter jet of the Saudi-led coalition bombed and destroyed a line of residential tower-houses killing 4 residents and reducing to rubble the historial site. The ongoing aerial campaign of bombardments by the Arab states and their western allies led by Saudi Arabia and the heavy fighting against the entrenchment of the Houthi insurgency along the Yemeni main cities from north to south has caused an international alert for the enlisted cultural heritage sites in Yemen, such as the historic town of Zabid, the Old City of Sana'a and the Old Walled City of Shibam.
