November 23, 2014 - Ubari region, Libya: A Tuareg tribal fighter from Mali stands guard at one of the check points of Al-Sharara oilfield installations powered off weeks ago in the Southwest of Libya. Fighting around Southwest Ubari region ignited after Tuareg militias from Mali and Libya sized control over the vast oilfield installations aligned with the Third Force of Misrata armed forces. Since then raged battles have taken place between two factions: one faction of Tuareg fighters lead by Third Force from Misrata pushing to clean the region from the other faction of Tebu tribal fighters defending their controlled territory.
