A 23 years old Kachin villager lays down on his bed as he recovers from his severe injuries caused by landmine explotion when was working in the crops. Fierce clashes have taken place since the ceasefire was broken out by the Burmese army last June 2011. During months the fighting were spread out along the Kachin State leaving more than 40,000 displaced persons and refugees (a conservative estimating) in accord with the humanitarian aid groups.
